Although I knew that this weekend was going to be difficult, I didn’t expect it to be quite so strenuous. However, we all completed the walks successfully without any mishaps. Except for one hour on Thursday when it rained we had perfect walking weather. As an added bonus the Cliff Hotel was very good and they looked after us well, even giving us our own private dining room.

Over the four days we walked 32.2 miles of the coast path and, according to Google Earth, climbed nearly 7000 feet. When we next meet in May we will be complete the Ceredigion Coast Path over about the same distance but with half the climbing (unless I have my calculations wrong).

The map below shows our progress so far in red, blue is what we plan to walk in the remainder of the year and yellow for future years. We are still on target to complete sometime in 2019.
