Once again we had fours days of good weather and successful walking. The hotel in Machynlleth, which I was very worried about, turned out to be one of the best, once we had sorted out what we had actually paid for.

In total we walked 34.1 miles and for the first time used a train to get us to the start. This would not be the last as I have planned to use the train and buses to get around next time.

Next month we are staying in Barmouth which will be interesting as the last time I stayed there I was about 14.
